Field workshops/training

Training and group exercises in the field provide one of the best methods to tackle key exploration issues, broaden links between working groups, and provide valuable off-site time for your team. Dougal Jerram has run field trips for both industry and academia since 1997, and recently co-authored the book ‘Field Guide to Igneous Rocks’ by Wiley.(see book section)

Additionally lab based lecture/practical classes can be used to provide 'in-house' training, and core workshops on key sub-surface stratigraphic examples. DougalEARTH aims to provide the best possible training through years of expertise and by teaming up with key expert colleagues to make sure that the training experience is the best possible combination of 'state of the art' knowledge transfer, and team experience.
