Volcanic Winner!!
Thanks to all the children from around the North East who have contributed to Dr Volcano's drawing competition. There is stiff competition with over 300 entries :-) The winner received a Dr Volcano T-shirt, a copy of the new book 'Introducing Volcanoes' and some select samples from volcanoes around the world. WELL DONE !!
Teachers surprise!!
Dr Volcano meeting up with his old geology teacher at a secret retirement bash!! Golden! Went down to London to surprise him at his party and present some of the DVD's of the geology programs I have been doing....he started it all off!!
Birth of Britain
Dear all, I will appear in Tony Robinson's new show 'Birth of Britain' on Channel 4. The first show 'Hidden Volcanoes' volcanoes looks at Britain's Volcanic past, where I show Tony around the old Skye volcano :-) The show has also been on National Geographic.
